The childish Chipolopolo team manager Lusekelo Kamwambi has leaked private correspondence between him and China-based star striker Jacob Mulenga without the consent of the other party.
Mulenga had sent a text message to communicate his “official” reasons for staying way from national duty.
But in his usual excited, childish and muzungu anikonde fashion, Kamwambi disregarded etiquette jumping on the text message from Jacob.
The Kitwe-based Kamwambi who is known in football circles of feeding off players claims it is not true that Jacob gave conditions for his call up but was not just in the right frame to play for the national team.
“We always contact players before they are named in the squad. I contacted Jacob and he told me he is not 100 percent in the right frame to play for the national team. Contrary to reports that he gave conditions. He is still part of the team and will be considered in future only that he is not ready this time around,” Kamwambi told the Daily Mail.
Jacob in a text message to Kamwambi said: “I have a lot of respect for George Lwandamina [coach]. That is why I have said it before anything is officially announced.”
But Jacob says his correspondence with Kamwambi was purely private and should have been kept free of any press coverage.
