The Zambia Daily Mail has continued operating without a board after the previous one was dissolved soon after President Edgar Lungu.
Information Minister Chishimba Kambwili dissolved the Mizinga Melu headed board in a shakeup that was followed up the dismissal of then Managing Director Bryson Mumba.
So far the institution is under the stewardship long serving member Nebat Mbewe whose stay is deemed temporal is the hunt for a long time successor continues.
With the election vibe warming in the country there could be very deliberately careful movements in choosing media heads.
The Zambia Daily Mail has had four Managing Directors since 2011 Isaac Chipampe, Bryson Mumba and Mbewe.
