President Lungu - TribePresident Edgar Lungu has urged members of the party not to relent in their quest to make Zambia a better place. He has emphasised the need for the country to recognise and support the efforts made by young entrepreneurs.

“As President, I’m convinced that we need more to identify the role that can be played by youths in National development.

Meanwhile, President Lungu has announced the aquisition of about 400,000 high powered solar panels to be redistributed nationwide to cushion the current power outages caused by low water levels.

“My government is working on a more permanent solutions to diversifying our sources of energy to solar, wind and thermal energies. An example of this is my governments decision to roll out 400, 000 solar powered milling plants in all the 10 provinces of Zambia.” he said.

President Lungu pledged to continue working towards a better Zambia despite the perceived hate speech he said was coming from certain quarters of the media with hidden agendas.

An auction of President Edgar Lungu’s personal effects was also held before a jam packed audience that included numerous Zambians from all walks of life and the business community. This was during the Meet the President fundraiser organised by the Patriotic Front secretariat.
