Six grade 12 pupils of Libala secondary school have appeared in the Lusaka Magistrate court for allegedly being in possession of grade 12 examination leakage.
The quintet identified as Yobe Ng’uni, 18, of Arrakan barracks, Fred Chipampa, 18, Kabwata sit and service, Joyce Sialwiindi, 20, Libala stage 4B, Enert Manjengwa, 18, Chawama, Enivia Chimba, 18, Libala South and blessing Banda, 17, of Chawama are charged with unauthorized possession of examination papers or information contrary to Section 19 (1) and (2) of the Examination Council of Zambia Act chapter 137 of the laws of Zambia.
It is alleged that on November 2, 2018 the accused jointly and whilst acting together without lawful excuse had in their possession Grade 12 examination question papers.
However the suspects have not taken plea because a parent to one of the suspects was not present before court.
Magistrate-in-charge Humphrey Chitalu has since adjourned the matter to December 17 for plea.
Meanwhile two Teachers of an unknown School in Lusaka on Monday appeared before the Lusaka Magistrates Court on similar charges.
