General Education Minister David Mabumba has announced that suspended examinations will resume on Thursday, October 31.
During a media briefing, Mabumba said that 77 examination centres tampered with the envelopes holding examination papers.
He said that investigations had revealed that the mushrooming of examination centres may have contributed to leakages.
“Seventy-seven Examination centers tampered with the envelopes of the 2018 Mathematics Paper 2 papers and some of them attempted to seal the envelopes with super glue or other adhesive materials. The highest numbers are in Central, Southern, Western and Copperbelt provinces,” he said.
New Schedule
