PATRIOTIC Front Secretary General Davies Chama says the continued wrangles in the MMD have contributed to the delay in finalizing the PF-MMD alliance.
MMD president Nevers Mumba told party members in Lundazi that President Edgar Lungu is elusive over the issue of an alliance
But Chama says the ruling party wants to go into an alliance with a united MMD and not a divided one.
Chama notes that the divisions in the MMD have continued to escalate.
He says the PF understands the challenges the MMD is going through having gone through similar challenges last year.
Chama, however, states that even without an alliance with the MMD, there are political parties that have endorsed President Edgar Lungu including some MMD Members of Parliament.
