Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba will have his day in court today after spending his weekend behind bars on a charge of threatening violence.
Mwamba, popularly known as GBM had a torrid time last week twice crossing the law enforcement agencies on two different cases with another being of unlawful drilling and will have two appearances in court this week.
The UPND vice president was locked up for saying that he will go for President Edgar Lungu’s throat after he was released on bail on Wednesday last week.
His lawyers’ attempts to secure his release on Friday failed leaving him locked away at Lusaka Central Police.
