National Savings and Credit Bank employees this morning staged a protest following the suspension of the Managing Director Kephas Chabu.
The workers were also incensed by management’s decision to re-instate three suspended directors without having given an explanation.
Chabu has been suspended in part of the brewing corruption charges at the public institution.
The three directors were fired but have inexplicably bounced back after a month with management opting to suspend Chabu.
Chabu’s position has been filled by Mwila Chibiliti who is one of the three directors that have been re-instated.
