The rationing of electricity is now hindering pumping of water from the Kafue river to Lusaka, the Lusaka Water and Sewerage Company has announced cautioning its clients to brace for challenging times ahead.
LWSC has advised users to be considerate with the supply they were currently enjoying.
Some customers in Lusaka have since receive correspondence via text messages on the rationing of water by the utility company.
“Kindly be advised that every time our pump stations are loadshedded, you will be experiencing erratic water supply. Make it a habit to store emergency water,” the note reads.
