Thieves have broken into Kitwe’s Ipusukile Primary School and made away with computers which were installed in a newly built lab.
The thieves abducted the security officer at the school and tied him to a tree. A similar incident was recorded at Kitwe’s Chamboli Secondary School where computers were stolen.
Police have not made any arrests arising from the two incidents, but government officials have urged the law enforcers to intensify patrols and bring the culprits to book.
Meanwhile, a woman of Chaisa compound in Lusaka has lost all her household goods worth K1, 500 after fire swept through her residence. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
