The Grand Coalition on the Constitution is considering whether or not to attend the second round of discussions with Justice Minister Edgar Lungu.
Grand Coalition chairperson Father Leonard Chiti said the organization leaders were meeting in Siavonga to chart the way forward.
He said that they were also trying to tie up their case on stepping up the fight for a new constitution.
The Grand Coalition and Justice Minister Edgar Lungu had the first round of talks on the constitution with a second round meeting having had been planned after 10 days.
However, there has been silence on the government since the 10 day window lapsed.
“We are in Siavonga planning some strategies we will decide by the end of the day whether or not we should go back to the minister because there are a few things we need to sort out ourselves before we actually deciding to go back to him,” he said.
